Visite of the CNES and signature of a sponsorship agreement with ArianeGroup

We had the pleasure of welcoming Philippe Baptiste, President of CNES accompanied by Pierre TREFOURET his Chief of Staff for the official handover of the photo of the Millau Viaduct seen from Space, captured by the Pléiades satellites, to Jean-Claude GAYSSOT , former minister and President of the FVA, in the company of Philippe Augé, President of the University of Montpellier and Jacques Godfrain, former minister and Honorary President of the Charles de Gaulle Foundation. This ceremony was followed by the signing of a sponsorship agreement between ArianeGroup. On this occasion, Pr. Laurent Dusseau, Dir. of the Centre Spatial Universitaire de Montpellier (CSUM) and the FVA, presented the first satellite 3 unit of the CSUM: ROBUSTA-3A Méditerranée which will leave on the inaugural flight of Ariane6 as well as its innovative test bench developed by our engineers for.
