28 national companies from the space sector, donors of the foundation, gathered in Montpellier
The Van Allen Foundation brought together 28 national companies from the #space sector, and patrons of the Foundation, on the Saint-Priest campus of the University of Montpellier for a day dedicated to foresight around the development issues of future platforms and subsystems of the Space Center of the University of Montpellier (CSUM).
Technical workshops were organized and led by high-flying personalities:
Frank Airoldi, Managing Director at MBFA Consulting, former CEO of INTESPACE, who supported from the beginning the slightly crazy idea of building a student space center in Montpellier,
Xavier Albert-Lebrun, Head of Advanced Systems at Airbus Defense and Space, who participates in the reviews of our nanosatellites by bringing great expertise to the #CSUM team,
Denis CHAPUIS, President at ADAN Consulting whose expertise in innovation illuminated this day.
The Van Allen Foundation, a true catalyst for uniting various French companies
around the #nanospatial activities of the CSUM, took advantage of the event to induct four new companies into its Partners Club:
· ANYFIELDS
· HyPrSpace
· ION-X
· MAP SPACE COATINGS
But also, to sign the renewal of the sponsorship agreement that binds us to Groundspace.
This 12th meeting dedicated to the members of the FVA Partners Club, introduced by Jean-Claude Gayssot, President of the Foundation and former minister, as well as by Pr. Laurent DUSSEAU, Director of the FVA and CSUM; is once again an opportunity for industrial sponsors to meet, to be able to discuss their projects and thus discuss potential collaborations. These events offer a real networking opportunity and are real successes every year.
