Have a good flight, Sophie!

As Sophie Adenot prepares to join the International Space Station, Michel Tognini, president of #FVA, accompanied by Jean-Claude GAYSSOT, honorary president, Claudie HAIGNERÉ, honorary patron, and Prof. Laurent DUSSEAU, director general, wishes her a very good flight on behalf of the entire FVA team and the Montpellier University Space Center (CSUM).

Sophie Adenot is flying the flag for France and Europe on a mission rich in scientific discoveries, international cooperation, and unforgettable moments aboard the ISS.

Twenty-five years after Claudie Haigneré, Sophie is now the second French female astronaut to fly in space, and this is a source of immense pride for France, for Europe, and for all those who are already inspired by her journey.
